WHEW......IS IT FRIDAY YET???
ALMOST!
What a week it has been. My collegue Fiona has officially started her maternity leave (she's due April 20th) so that means my schedule is FULLY LOADED!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so soooo pumped. I will be working a few 10 hour days (the life of a personal trainer/bootcamp instructor) but will have a three day weekend every other week. Life is good. I'm so thrilled with my client load. They are all so different, yet so much alike. We're all alike in that we want to be healthy, right? But so many of us lack the tools. We should call our studio HOME DEPOT: Loaded with all the tools you may need........ :) :)
On the fitness front, Ohhhh thank goodness for recovery week. It's allowed me to catch my breath, get organized, and get well rested for next week: because next week = double days for me..........YAHOOOOOO! :) I love double days, i'm sick like that. You mean I get to workout twice? SWEET. so, I'll keep you posted, and I'm thinking this Sund. I will take a few progress pix. (1/3 of the way done! WHOA)
Other news, my birthday will mark 5 months out from my next fitness competition. One in my own backyard, Sept. 26th!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to compete at home, it will be TOTALLY different than what I've done before! So, of course I'll keep you posted on that.
love to ya'll & HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 weeks in-----10 ta gooooo
HEY YO!!!!
Hope you are all doin well!
Tomorrow marks our fourth week of P90X and the four week is always a 'recovery' week. So, that means this week is full of Yoga, core synergystics, kenpo and stretch. I will be doing a few rounds of cardio as well, just because.
I'm sooooooo thrilled with this program. I have to say, initially, I was apprehensive. I mean, I'm a personal trainer, right? I shouldn't have to use a program, I WRITE programs!! :) Anyway, I'm so thrilled. Period. LOVE IT!
I'm down 8 lbs. and MANY inches. I'm only 1/3 (not even yet)of the way done, too.....so LOOK OUT!
ALSO, on a suuuuupppperrr exciting note, my PUPPY was born Saturday! Yep, that's right, my West Highland White Terrier female was born April 11th. We get her in 9 weeks..........YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you all have a faaabulous week. Stay strong, stay healthy and get out and MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE~

Sunny Sunday
HELLOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
What a packed week! Bootcamp was pretty time consuming this week, I ran all 9; my partner who helps was out of town (and she covered for me while I was cruisin!!) All of the classes went great, though! MY personal training clients are going VERY well, and I still have one afternoon of massage. YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE MY JOBS!!!!!!!!!!
So, I've still been rockin the workouts, even if it means I'm up at 4:55am. Yep, no joke! Look for a vlog by next week. :) We start week three tmrw. Today is a rest or stretch day, and I think I'm gonna go for a run outside because it's G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. outside!!!!!!!!!!!
My nutrition has been super clean and I'm feeling really good. I need to get a little more sleep, so I'll try that this week!
Love you all, I'm trying to stay updated on most of my lovely bloggers!!!!!!!!!!
MAKE IT A GRAND DAY~

It was so much food-plenty for leftovers! YAY for simplicity!!!

FUN TREADMILL WORKOUT!!!
HELLO!
Today was Kenpo. I enjoyed it, but wasn't really challenged. I used my weighted turbo gloves, but I think since I've taught Turbokick for over 4 years, I've adapted to the kicks and punches, and they no longer challenge me too much. SOOOO, I threw in a good old fashioned treadmill workout this afternoon. Check it out:
Warm up- 5 mins. (stay at 1 or 2% incline for running & 3 or 4% incline for recovery)
RUN---6.0---2 mins.
walk--4.0---2 mins.
RUN---7.0---90 sec.
walk--3.5---90 sec.
RUN---8.0---1 min.
walk--3.0---1 min.
*REPEAT THE ABOVE SEQUENCE 5 times for a 45 min. cardio session (plus warm up/cool down)
Cool down & Stretch!
ENJOY!!!!!!
Have a wonderful Sunday. LOVE!!!
