Well, this morning I was set to take my progress pix so I can send them to Mike davies & get my diet update. I have to be honest & tell you, I took the pix, had a mini-meltdown, and decided to RETAKE the pix this evening (which we did)
For those of you who take progress pix, you may feel my pain here! :) I just DID NOT feel like the pix did me any justice. Holy crap I've been bustin my rear & grrrrrrr, I was just really frustrated! :)

ANYWAY, I regrouped, got a KILLER workout done, relaxed all afternoon & re-took the pix. Luckily, my dear husband is a trooper & went right along with my mini-melt, insisting I'm progressing & heck, he thinks I look just fine right now! :) Bless his heart! :) Oh yeah, here's a pic of him, he's making great gains in the gym, too!!!!

alright, I'm doing fine now and just have that much more drive to kick it & take names!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rockin & Rollin!!!!!

Today I had my 6am workout with Fiona. Then I headed to the gym for 30 min. on the stairmill........when to the store, 5 dozen eggs for only $6.99 HECK YEAH!!!!!!!! Last spring they were up to like 10 bucks!!!
I'm playing catch up with emails, then I'm heading to work! More cardio this afternoon/evening. Expecting my mixed routine music the beginning of next week...then things get exciting! :)

Lake...Bee Sting....Happiness.

I check www.greatday.com/motivate everyday. It is SUCH an amazing website. A really great way to start your day off with a positive mental attitude. Here's todays:

This past weekend at the lake was wonderful, although not near as warm as we'd hope. I did some runs and stair work, and dang it if I didn't get stung by a bee....ouch. Just on the outside of my hand, as I was holding on to the railing on the way down.....note to self: DON'T HOLD ON! :)

Lastly, (and this is all my personal feeling/opinion)
I was asked if I ever have a bad day or if I'm ever 'not' happy. So, YES! of course, i have not-so-good days........BUT, I've gotten to the point where, I TRULY think that if I Validate or Justify my bad day, I've done just that: Given into a bad day.....when in all honesty, I have NO reason to have a bad day. Life is GREAT and I know that my mindset helps determine that. So.....even if I haven't explained this necessarily very well-I think "givin into" a bad day (for myself) is a cop-out and really a choice. And I choose not to have bad days. "not-so-good" sure, but NO "BAD."
