Well, yesterday I was OUT of commision. I got back into work too fast, I outdid myself at Turbo, and just dove head first into my contest prep. What can I say...I was REALLY excited! :) Well, my trapz & levators were really NOT thrilled that I hopped back in so fast....
ANYWAY, today I was THRILLED to feel close to 100% when, no joke, yesterday I was at about 50%. My neck, right shoulder, serratus, ohhh man, I was hurtin for certain! :(
After an AMAZING chiropractic adjustment, quick upperbody work by another therapist, contrast treatments ALL NIGHT of heat & ice, plus an epsom salt bath and high doses of BCAA's & Glut.........................SERIOUSLY FELT LIKE A MILLION BUCKS THIS MORNING. I was really concerned when I hit the hay that I might have to cancel my appointments today AND my training with Fiona. Ohhhh, just really happy to feel good!
So, on to the training: I worked out with Fiona and we figured out my training split for the next THIRTEEN WEEKS, heyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited. Basically my number one goal is to stay INJURY FREE. Ankle, primarily, but just full body in general! :) God willing, I will make it thru this as intended! :)
Tomorrow the hubby & I are going to the gym, then I work a couple hours, then it's off to the LAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This weekend we're suppose to be close to 100 degrees.......wHATT????

Once again!!!
Wonderful wednesday, once again! Turbokick "kicked" butt and it was such an awesome class!
I did morning cardio & shoulders this morning. Feeling stronger each day. Eats have been on, and quite frankly, really easy. I think I'm still full from Greece...........you laugh, but I'm not joking! :) I ate waffles with nutella & ice cream (yes, together) like it was going out of style! :0)
Tomorrow is cardio and perhaps another track workout if my legs can handle it!

TRACK WORKOUT!
Yayy! I LOVE TRACK WORKOUTS! Well, at least stair work, I do love that!
Tonight we went to the track down the block and did 5 up and downs, then ran a lap, did that 4 times, then ended with 10 more up and down alternating single/quick feet, and long double steps. Goooooood workout!!!
Progress pix, HOPEFULLY Saturday. Need my official 12 week out diet (well, this weekend is 13, but it'll take a few days.......)
That's all. Feeling great! Off to drink my sleepytime tea as I soak in my epsom salt bath!

GYM WORKOUT!!!!!
Finally. I've been doing most of my workouts downstairs (home gym, Schwetty's) and I totally love it. It has everything I need, but as you home-worker-outers know, sometimes you just need a change of scenery! :) The gym I teach at, OZ FITNESS, is wonderful & huge. Sooooo, yesterday I went for my first workout since I got back! I did chest and worked on my tricks! Yeahhh! As I've found with my other lifts, I've lost a little strength, but that's fine, I'll get it back!
Monday is going well thus far! I've done my morning cardio, then I have back & bi's later today (before work).
