I know it may seem over kill, but I'm really enjoying doing Legs right now. I've focused on quads one day.......rested.... hams......rested........ glutes......rested. No heavy work, mainly reps & plyos, but not hardcore plyos.
This morning I did cardio & legs downstairs, then worked, then we did about a 45 min. bikeride. Very nice day. I've been keeping myself busy watchin the results for the 2008 NPC Jr. Nationals in chicago. They gave out 4 PRO cards in Figure thus far (4 out of 6, how sad for the other 2 class winners....) but not results in Fitness yet!

Tomorrow is ALL UPPERBODY. Shoulders, shoulders, shoulders!

Morning Run

Today I woke up at 4:45 to meet my trainer for a 4.5 mile run. Wow. It was awesome. It was around this beautiful part of the valley and the sun was shining, just gorgeous. However, the beautiful setting didn't take away the fact that it was SERIOUS incline & seriously challenging.........Too fun, though! I'm lifting this afternoon, then going on a bike ride! :)

Well, after 3 weeks off from teaching, I got back into it tonight! Turbokick is such an amazing class and tonight was no different! About 25 people and we went full force! :) I was suckin air a little bit, but not too bad! I did morning cardio and am still feeling really good! Not too sore!! I've been doing my HOT epsom salt baths every night, though, so that helps! Tonight when I got home I made a protein waffle with my new bella cuisina belgiun waffle maker! (the ones you rotate, like in a hotel!) Soooooo yummy!
Eats were on, I could have lifted today, but it ended up being an off day.
Slowly building up my endurance again with work, so that's wonderful! All of my patients are so awesome, they wanted to know all about my wedding & honeymoon, they're so sweet.

DAY 2 & 3

Day 3- 6/17
Cardio & Leg work. I already did some leg work sunday, but I needed to get stretched out, and what better way then by workin them out again! :) I had to get some blood flowing thru 'em! :)Plus, the routine I did kept my heartrate sky high so it's can sort of count for cardio! I'm sooooooooooooo happy to be in "CONTEST PREP" mode again. This is me, this is what I do. I thrive (like a baby) on a schedule. I need it, want it, desire it. Just love it basically! yep, that's it, I love it!!!!!

Day 2- 6/16 (had time to post, but forgot...)
Very good day. Eats were on, did morning cardio, ate breakfast, went back downstairs for upperbody work. Def. not as strong as I've been, but that's no prob, I'll get there! :) Legs soooooooore, will likely be worse tomorrow! Gotta get that glutamine cycling thru my body again! :) I don't care what anyone says, placebo or not, that stuff WORKS!!!!!!! :) :)

My sleep has still been out of wack. Greece had a 9 hour difference and I've yet to sleep past 7am........WTH????
ANYWAY: Started the day down in Schwetty's. NICE NICE Workout. Forgot how wonderful it is to get an awesome sweat going! (That is, if awesome means drenched...)
Focused on Ham/glute work, some cardio, some core. Lots of stretching.
Feeling extra fluffy...........but what can I say, I practically lived on carbs for 2 weeks......yummm.
Trying to post consistently. At least post what the workout of the day was!
About 15 weeks to go. Progress progress progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!
